To lock your device with a password:

1. Assign a password (see above instructions).

• Password is required before using the turn off and lock option.

2. Tap lock & turn off device.

• System lockout dialog appears.

3. Tap off & lock.

4. Turn on your device.

5. Enter your password at prompt > OK.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you synchronize with your computer before deleting a forgotten password, your

handheld computer restores private entries the next time you perform a HotSync operation but does not

restore the forgotten password. Deleting a forgotten password also deletes all entries and files marked as

private.

To delete a forgotten password:

1. Tap the security icon in applications launcher.

2. Tap forgotten password.

3. Tap yes to delete the forgotten password.
